High-throughput and large-scale production of clickable fluorogenic probes

Scientific Background

  • Undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University College Cork
  • As part of the degree, Sarah carried out her fourth year research project in organic synthesis. The project title was the “Halogenation Reactions of 3(2H)-Furanones” where I investigated possible bromination and fluorination reactions of this organic family and the range of applications these reactions had.
